Randall Hibbitts & Appalachia is a popular, traditional bluegrass band based out of Southwest Virginia. While the band is certainly not new to the industry, they are currently transitioning new members into the ranks and gearing up for an exciting 2017 touring season!   Current band members include it's founder and band leader, Randall Hibbitts, Junior Blankenship, Dillon Abney and Don Anderson.

Folks will remember Randall most recently as the bass player for Dr. Ralph Stanley and The Clinch Mountain Boys.  Prior to that, Randall toured with Ralph Stanley II and Dave Evans and Riverbend. Junior Blankenship, also a former Clinch Mountain Boy, has shared the stage and studios with legends such as Ralph Stanley, Sammy Adkins, Larry Sparks, Vince Gill, Patty Loveless, Emmylou Harris, Tom T Hall and many more! Junior holds true to his roots and old time mountain music. Dillon Abney has played banjo with Joe Isaacs and Mountain Bluegrass, and has also had the privilege of sharing the stage with Vester Parker, Melvin Goins, and Don Rigsby. Don Anderson is a veteran bluegrasser that spent a lot of years in the Upstate NY bluegrass scene with bands including Lost Time & Hard Times. More recently he has spent years touring with the Dennis Cove Band.

The band is looking forward to putting a single out very soon and heading into the studio to work on a new album to follow up Randall Hibbitt's 2014 release, TRAVELER, available HERE.
